Can you use outdoor paint indoors

I found 2 models that have good reviews and are under a thousand clams. This one is under and this one is about five. Others I see can go up to , and are probably better investment for a long term use. I was interested in this and I might do some more research and write a post on this. Thanks so much and do keep in touch? I am assuming painting over an exterior primer with interior paint will be ok? The first thing to do is close the door and open the window.. Please read the reply to the same question someone asked me last week, just above your question.

I just used exterior latex paint on the stairs in my unfinished basement. Was this a bad idea? Or will I be ok? Should I cover it up with interior paint? Well, yes and no. Keep your door closed to keep the fumes out of your upstairs.

In the end, it will be ok, but be vigilant for a few months. Would you be able to suggest a type of paint for basement concrete walls?

Or would you suggest not to paint them at all? Masonry primer then masonry paint. Ok we the a bunch of paints together, about half interior and half exterior with emulsabond added.

It is making me sick. How can I either cover it safely or make it safe? I wish I had known these dangers first! So sorry to hear this. You can scrape it all off in the best case, or ventialte for as long as it takes, but there is still the health risk in your house and it will take months. An air scrubber that removes VOC is best if you choose not to scrape it all off. Watch this. Here are the best two products. Send me some before and pics??

It will make you feel better! Accidentally used Glidden essentials exterior paint for stucco and masonry guys at Home Depot said it would be good on interior dining wall that originally had flat paint.

Feeling dizzy and throat hurting and worried about toxins. Children in home too. Would covering it help or would the toxins leech through either way? Thank you. If you cover with a sealer, the off-gassing will take longer. AirDoctor and Amaircare. Too bad but true. But the used market is good for these…someone always needs one for a while and then they sell…sort of like a tool library!

We have aired out our home and left for a week and it is still causing dizziness. Again, we accidentally used exterior paint on our interior dry wall. We would like to remove, but how do we proceed without damaging the drywall? What products would we use and technique?

If you have to go this way, you have 2 paths in my view having never seen or smelled it. Then prime, paint as if it was new wall. If you want to do it yourself, get pros in for prices and ask what products and how-to. My question for using exterior paint on the interior is very specific. It will be painted prior to installation. What would you recommend in this situation?

Thanks for your help! Some water is fine. It would if exposed for a long time freezing. This tool is portable, avoid fewer mistakes like what you would make when using brushes.

The tank capacity allows you to work for a long time before the refill, meaning that you can complete many tasks quickly.

Spray guns are manufactured for even beginners. You can get one of the amazing tools at a low price. The weather is a big factor when you work on the furniture. You can wear shorts when working for the convenience and ventilation for your legs. With an ideal temperature it can produce a better result so choosing when to do it is very important. The surface can dry too fast, leaving the mistakes to remain. Or if the humidity is too high, the imperfections such as molds can be easily observed.

Drywalls require you to sand the surface carefully before applying a good primer. Only then can you proceed to the final painting step. But what if the walls are already covered in paint? Can you paint exterior paint over interior paint? In this case, you will have to put in more effort to get the best result.

First, you should converse the walls back to the original condition for further convenience. Remove the paint by scraping and sanding the walls. It is not guaranteed that the paint will be gone completely, but you can remove it as much as possible. Then, continue to apply the primer. Primers are great supporters in keeping the paint last longer. With the brushes, you can fix small details while painting, but it will use up a lot of your time, which is not good when you work with exterior paints.

The surface may vary from time to time so knowing how to deal with it is a big win. After the work is done, you will have to clean the equipment thoroughly for the next use to be efficient. This will only take a few minutes so you can do it every time you are done using it.

Aside from the brushes, you can work better with a paint sprayer. The sprayers are available in the market with many types and prices suitable for home use. You can cover a wide acreage in a short time without worrying about the flakes because the sprayers turn the paint into tiny drops that can fit in the gaps and even the smallest cracks on the walls.

You will just have to maintain your position and work with the convenient, lightweight sprayer. Are you worried about cleaning up afterward? The parts can be easily removed and cleaned with a few flushes from the water hose.

Allow the sprayer to dry, and it is good to go for a new task. VOC is commonly known as the main chemical of the exterior paint fumes.

VOC plays a major part in keeping the pigment for the paint while making sure that the paint holds better to the surface, meaning the overall quality depends mostly on these useful yet dangerous components.

On the contrary, latex paints with water-based formula have a lower level of this harmful chemical. Some manufacturers even have interior paints with zero VOC. This chemical can cause dangerous health problems to you and other family members, especially in enclosed rooms that do not allow much air to pass through. Not sure what these are? They prevent premature breakdown caused by daily abuse from direct hot sunlight.

It makes sense really. Always stick with what makes sense! Most modern indoor paint products produce minimal odour, and little-to-no toxic emissions. The chemical fumes of exterior paint, including volatile organic compounds VOCs , can linger in the air indefinitely. This can have some strong side effects, and cause adverse health effects for many individuals.
